Of the 12 lakh violators, roughly 15,963 people have been nabbed for littering, encompassing behaviours corresponding to spitting and discarding wrappers onboard trains and at stations. They have been collectively fined Rs 18.33 lakh. Concurrently, round 6 lakh passengers have been caught travelling sans tickets, leading to a positive assortment of Rs 50.79 lakh.
