Markets Wipe Out Early Gains On Fag-end Sell-off; Nifty Slips From Record High

Mumbai: Fairness benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty ended decrease on Tuesday as a fag-end sell-off worn out early good points, with IT and energy shares enjoying spoilsport amid a combined development in international markets.

Mahindra & Mahindra, Energy Grid, Bajaj Finance, IndusInd Financial institution and Maruti have been the main gainers.

In Asian markets, Seoul, Tokyo and Hong Kong settled within the optimistic territory whereas Shanghai ended decrease.

European markets have been largely buying and selling decrease. Wall Road ended with good points on Monday.

International oil benchmark Brent crude climbed 0.21 per cent to USD 88.59 a barrel.
