Eminem is gearing as much as launch his twelfth studio album, The Demise of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), this summer season.
Eminem took to Instagram to announce the upcoming album with a video trailer for the album.
Slim Shady is the rapper’s well-known alter ego he has referenced in his music incessantly, starting together with his Slim Shady EP in 1997 and The Slim Shady LP in 1999.
Within the trailer, a criminal offense reporter publicizes the dying of Slim Shady, saying, “Via his complicated and oft-criticized, tongue-twisting rhymes, the blonde anti-hero generally known as Slim Shady has had no scarcity of enemies.”
Then, rapper 50 Cent is seen saying, “He’s not a good friend, he’s a psychopath.”
The clip then cuts again to the reporter who says, “The identical impolite lyrics and controversial antics could have in the end led to his demise. Be part of me as we recreate the occasions that led to the homicide of Slim Shady.”
The Demise of Slim Shady comes 4 years after the All She Wrote hitmaker’s final album Music to Be Murdered By.
Earlier this month, Eminem fooled followers with the announcement that he’d launched a brand new album, which turned out to be an April Idiot’s joke. What satisfied followers that an album was truly coming was Dr. Dre’s announcement in March that the rapper would launch an album “this yr.”
